Each resident has their own private bedroom, and full use of common areas including kitchen, lounge, chapel, yard, and laundry.​

We ask residents to contribute their fair share of program service fees by doing one of the following: 

  1. Contribute $400 monthly

  2. Volunteer 10 hours per week for the CFP 

  3. Volunteer 5 hours per week and contribute $200 monthly

  4. Volunteer any number of hours per week, and program service fees will be adjusted accordingly.


Volunteer tasks generally include computer and administrative work but may also be catered to residents' talents and abilities. ​In addition, residents contribute $10 a month for common meals and household staples (toilet paper, cleaning supplies, etc.).


Upon acceptance into the vocation house, the initial security deposit is $300. When a room is vacated, the security deposit will be refunded in full or part depending on the condition of the room. 


Applicants must be:

1. At least 18 years old


2. Of sufficient mental and physical health to contribute to life in a group setting


3. Practicing Catholics in agreement with the teachings of the Catholic Church, or seeking to become Catholic

4. Willing and able to commit to community life


5. Able to contribute, either through volunteer work or payment, the cost of his or her program service fees 

Other rules: 

  • No smoking in the houses

  • No underage drinking or illegal drug usage

  • No pornography

  • No profanity

  • Dress according to dress code
